how can you tell whether or not i have the swine flu?

how can anyone tell if they have swine flu or not? i mean i read the symptoms, but those symptoms are common in other fevers and flus as well. me and my siblings have a fever and get aches and pains as well as a sore throat, but is it the swine flu or just a regular flu or fever?

Well since the symptoms of H1N1 and seasonal flu are the same there is only one way to see if you do have swine flu is to get tested. If your symptoms persist for more than a week visit the doctor. Once at your doctor, he will test you for 2 types if Influenza flu, Influenza A and B. Swine flu is included in the Influenza A group. If your culture is positive from influenza A than he or she will send that culture to your state’s local health department and they will look more into that sample from you and see if it is a confirmed case of H1N1 or any type of flu.
